I’m used to being at home. I work from home and I’m very comfortable being alone. I don’t have kids. So I’m in a pretty good position myself right now. This is for everyone who isn’t used to being at home, who has kids they need to educate and entertain, and anyone really. I hope you find some useful stuff from the links below. You’re a strong person and you can get through this! We’re all in this together, even if we’re all spread apart.
(I’ll leave comments open on this page. Please use the comments for added resources that I haven’t already listed. I’ll update the lists too. So check back often!)

Can You Help Others?
I know it’s tough for everyone. But if you have the means to help others, please think about it. Here are some of the agencies you can connect with to help.
- Feeding America
- TurnUp.ORG (No Kid Hungry)
- Covenant House (homeless youth centers)
- Covid-19 Sanitation Kits for the Homeless (News article)
- Brookfield Zoo (help take care of the animals)
- Don’t forget your local food pantries and animal shelters
We all need some stuff. I made the mistake of shopping when I really didn’t need to also. Most of us can do better. So, only shop if you really need stuff. Please only buy what you actually need and can use. And, if you can help out someone else by picking up some stuff for them, that’s good too. With the long lines at stores, some folks can’t manage it. (And pass on products with the “WIC” label on the price displayed on the shelf. Those are the things folks with WIC are allowed to get. Grab a different brand.) Lets be kind to our neighbors.
